I got the gun for a song because it never functioned correctly. First, grip the gun firmly, that can make a big difference on marginal recoil loads. Lubing the mag tube will help, polishing it may do the trick. Polish the chamber with some 0000 steel wool wrapped around a bore brush and an electric drill. These 2 things will probably cure the problem.
